About Anthony FordI was Born and raised in Brooklyn NY, in the year of 1953, one of four brothers, at a young age, my parents realized that I had musical ability. While in Junior High school I choose the Bass Fiddle, from there I joined a band which become very successful opening for Chicago, Aretha Franklin, John Lennon & Yoko Ono, and many other groups. After a very successful music career, I joined the United States Army, developed a passion for politics, upon my Honorable Discharge, in 1980, I was drafted by the Republican party in Brooklyn, to run for Congress and become the first African American Republican to run in a Democratic district. Due to political differences at the time I declined the offer, the general con census was that if I did run, I would have won. Broadcasting came into my life in 1980, when I joined WMCA radio, in New York, as a commercial copywriter, my choosing to go into broadcasting I believe was truly God-directed, I had the opportunity to work for the great men and women of broadcasting at that time, Barry Farber, Barry Grey and many others. In, 1999, I finally achieved my dream in broadcasting and became, the Morning Drive Anchor/and Production Television Supervisor for WFME, Family Radio, a christian broadcasting company. Due to several family tragedies, I had to give up my broadcasting career in 2005, after my Mother and brother passed, I met my wife, Bernadette Drazio in, 2006, and at the age of 53, we were married in Brooklyn, NY 2007, I finally settled down for the first time in my life. We moved to Texas, in 2007, for a brief time I worked for Frank Kent Cadillac in Fort Worth, as their Community Liaison, a job that once again allowed me to meet with many of Fort Worth's most powerful and influential men and women.
